The book, which grabs you after you hold it, is a writer who has prevailed over you by repeating to you that love is prolific. A few days ago, my friend, Dr. Adib Saab offered me his book: "William Saab, Poet of the Eternal Issues". I follow the poets to the great transformation. Any reader of the book can see in it a writer whose father had intended him to strengthen, unbidden, a legacy in which he had a “prince’s share”. Here, the ink is the whole ink; it is the meeting of the mind and the heart. Objectivity does not let go of him who knows and who seeks to witness to an ingenuity that flourished in his bosom. William Saab, whose motto was: “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord”, is present, with all his princely dignity in the wonderful poetry, the ingenious mind and the morals, in his son’s conception that his father’s legacy is the word, both in poetry and prose, as well as the friends, both in the homeland and the diaspora, as it is the one Lebanon… The book abounds with poetry and analysis. However, the most beautiful poem in it is the deviation from “Caesar on the road” to meeting God in all people. This is a reverence to love, ingenuity and transformation.
