Where is the Cassock?

I am asking about the cassock, whose story is well-known in our Church literature, where the “abbot” covers the nakedness of a brother who has fallen in a trespass. Where is it? Times will never run out of stories, of the falls that pass without being mentioned, as well as those which resonate loudly, the falls of those who stand, or those who are thought to be standing (1 Corinthians 10:12). As long as the flesh and blood have not yet transfigured, the time of the “story” will not come to an end. Yesterday, we had stories. Today too we have stories, things that happen also here and there. To these, the old as well as the young outstrip us in mentioning them in diverse ways. Life almost turned into plays for public viewing, novels for amusement! Do applaud electronics and those behind them. Indeed, defaming the sinner is not in our tradition, which abhors sins. I asked about the cassock. I wanted us, the people of the cassock, to remember that, in our tradition, the cassock has multiple uses, the most important of which is covering up the flaws, the thing that we are mostly empowered to do when we feel we are loved. Do not content yourselves with just wearing the cassock.
