To Magnify the Praise

This morning I visited the lake. Ducks, which I had failed to mention in the two previous visits, passed in front of me, swimming in the water. This scene reminded me of what Jesus had said about the birds whom “your heavenly Father feeds” (Matthew 6:26). At home, I wanted to learn about ducks that God takes care of in this mild summer, as well as in the stormy winter, when the temperature drops, in this expanse, tens of degrees below zero. My question was: how do these birds survive in the biting cold? I learned some things, of which I will mention that the duck’s feet have neither blood vessels nor nerves, that is, it feels no cold through them, and also that it belongs mostly to migratory birds, that can fly for around eight continuous hours. This universe is established in the care of God, Who wills, for all of it, “life, and a more abundant one”. We are expected to see the word “feeds them” that is mentioned here by Matthew, the Evangelist, under this light. This is to magnify the praise!
