The Worthiest Desire

I used to believe that there is no one in the world who, like your father and mother, would want you to live. Jesus’ word “I have come that they may have life…” (John 10:10), was one of my proofs to myself of His fatherhood to all creation. However, this summer, I made a new discovery. I discovered that the true son also has no concern with his parents other than that they have life. I do not remember the number of times I was alone with my son when I was his guest during my trip. I talked to him about stuff. He talked to me about stuff. Once, with no introduction, he launched a lightning attack on me. In short, he told me, in so many words, that he wants me to be as lively and active as he knows me… It seemed to me that he refused to acknowledge my age. Was he dismissing the reality that the father gets old, gets old and departs? Maybe; but I tend to believe that his own experience in his home gave him the conviction that love is equivalent to life. To love is to want those whom we love to be stronger than all death. This is the worthiest desire.

Palestine is Ours
I am not making a political analysis if I say that what is happening today in Palestine is not due to the stupidity of Israel’s leaders, as analysts are spreading, but rather a result of an almost general stupidity that has made its ballooning power an eternal legend. The Palestinians, in what they called “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” said to this inflated balloon: “Enough”. Will this “enough” turn into: it is over? The answer to this is open to two parts: the part of developing a map for the new Middle East that differs from the one that the youth of Palestine have pulled from Netanyahu’s hand two days ago, or the part of the world powers continuing to support the greatest terrorism that is usurping Palestine. The whole problem lies here: when will the time of blindness that pins on God all injustice and abuse in Palestine end? Who can correct the reading of history that the usurpers keep spreading, distorted by a sick superiority? They killed Christ, and they even kill him, in public, every day, and employ God in their service for eternity. Young people, angered by the stupidity, have said that Palestine is ours.
