Some difficulties do not disappear without a miracle. I am talking about the miracles that I wish for you and me, about God’s enduring visitation to us, no matter what. When I walked into my room last night, some things were worrying me. I totally felt that I will be fighting against my bed all night until the morning. I know myself. However, what happened was something else! As soon as I laid my head on my pillow, I felt a word near me as if it were the beloved! I know, like you do, that, if we confine ourselves to the difficulties that are attacking us, life will break us. What will comfort and strengthen us? To set our sights on the lasting goodness. The Word was merciful to me by strengthening me in what I would be ashamed to forget even for a moment. Hear the Word: “You shall treat my soul with great care in Your power (Psalm 137:3). This was my marvel yesterday; it was a wonder before the wonder!
