Today, in our difficult time on more than one level, I would like to pay tribute to the young brethren in the Orthodox Youth Movement (MJO) who are striving to serve the regeneration of their Church in this Antiochian expanse, in word and deed. I do not mean only the revered brethren who are watching over the orthodoxy of the Word and its praxis, but also every brother who is striving to rise from the drudgery of life to the brethren’s peace; even everyone who embraces them and prays for them, for the prosperity of their ministry and the growth of their witness. By saying the young, I did not mean to confine myself to one gender or age to the exclusion of another, but rather I meant all. I pay tribute to you all. I pay tribute to your diligence to keep a place for God in our land. This is the awareness of the elders that we are indebted to those who have delivered the Church to us to preserve it before we deliver it as well to those who come after us. I have no other word for you than to preserve your being sojourners in the world. This is ever the regeneration secret.
