The Priest of crises!

When crises become severe, I do not think that there is a priest in our time who is remembered by people, like Father George Massouh. George left us after having left, in many of his acquaintances, (the impression) that he had taken with him the whip with which he used to lash the dove sellers, the money-changers in the temple and the centers of power in the world. I am not criticizing him. I am not blaming him. I envy his wisdom. He knew that most people desired that someone else would flog, for them, what was considered vile to do on earth. He was not one of those who had this desire or who encouraged it. I am not speaking on my own authority, but rather out of my confidence that the man, despite his being eminent in knowledge, had spent his life poor for grace. This is the fertility of words and stances. The great ones are words that want people to be mature in presence and action. I am not distancing myself from those who remember him in all circumstances. The escalating events here and there need people like him to confront us with the truth. I am not saying to leave the great ones to their rest, but rather to free them from the prison of regret. Make clear that they had not labored among us in vain. Every time is the accepted time.
