“Do not let the sun go down on your wrath” (Ephesians 4:26). This is one of the commandments left to us by God for our salvation. This is the criterion for our wholesome common life everywhere, in our homes, in the Church communion, and in what we are doing in this earthly life. In Christ Jesus, people are, naturally, people of forgiveness. You recall the Paschal hymn in which we say: "let us say even to those who hate us, Let us forgive everything for the Resurrection”. This does not mean that, as Christians, we confine forgiveness to the great feasts, but that, every day, we come with everybody from God Who, in His Christ, has granted us to draw our life from the beauty of the age to come. Every time we forgive a human being, we celebrate the feast, the Great Feast!
