Faces of Light

When I set out to write the book “Faces of Light”, in which I narrated testimonies about great brethren living in our midst (published by An-Nour Orthodox Coop, in 2005), I first related the draft of its first pages to Metropolitan George Khodr who dwells in a house that is invaded by light both inside and outside. Our meeting was an indication that I should let the book write itself, that is, let it be a book written by others along with me. Metropolitan George provided me with news about many faces. After this first meeting, I got in touch with many brethren, bishops, priests and lay people. Those of them, whom I met, left with me pieces of news about witnessing brethren they had known in their lifetime. Holiness is for all people. After I sent the book for printing, something happened that I would like to mention to you. A new story forced me to stop the printing and add it to the book. This happened again. I did not repeat what I had done. I printed the book after I got convinced that light in the world is not a book that can be concluded.
