During the past two weeks, I underwent three diagnostic tests for COVID-19. My daughter insisted that I find out if my contacts with infected people had passed by safely. My tests came back negative; may God protect you! You know. We have no indication that the epidemic has become a thing of the past. I do not underestimate it. I do not take it as a lie. I am trying to follow life in its return to normality. This is sometimes costly. My concern is not for myself. I have completed what is universally considered protection against complications of the disease. However, I have a concern for the people in this country where nothing is traded with like people’s lives! I am not spreading fear. However, news reached me that, when the quantity of vaccines against COVID-19 in Lebanon runs out, no other will be officially brought in! Is this pressure on people who refuse the vaccine or a declaration of new bankruptcy? A country that does not immunize you from a disease, do not expect it to cure you of it!
