Communion of the Church

After nearly thirty years, we met again. The passing of his father brought us together. He had come from abroad. I did not recognize him. I greeted him as if he were a stranger. If you ever knew the people, as members of a Church in which you serve, they will get hurt if u forget them. One of the words that scar the souls of believers the most is when a priest says, in the eulogy of a deceased brother, that he did not know the man. Whoever the priest is, even if he had been two days in the parish, the brethren accept no less than being known to him. This is not human logic, but the logic of God. If you base your burial sermon on the words of a trustworthy person, if you accept his words, you will enter yourself into the communion of knowledge. When the man reminded me of himself, I hid my face! Without this knowledge, Man is not truly a pastor (John 10:14). There is nothing more beautiful than the brethren who, if we stray away from the knowledge of the Word in any situation, turn us back to the mercy of its chastisements.
