One of my committed friends told me that he had told a priest who is serving them with new fervor, about a regeneration work taking place in another Church. The story seemed out of place! He who was hearing it replied its conveyor: “it seems that you are unaware of the activity taking place in our parish. Our activity is superior”. I wish you all well. However, I will not be one of you if I keep silent about saying that nothing scares me about the Church like those who spew arrogance out, those who do not know how to rejoice in God’s favor towards others, those who confine His action to themselves. It is a word that I suggest we repeat to ourselves day and night: “preaching about ourselves is not from God”. When we say, in Church, to God be glory, we are not aware of what we are saying if it does not consist of rejoicing in every goodness He brings down to people and praying for His abiding in them. My advice, for our conversion and our goodness, is to participate with God in love.
