Brother Tony Bitar

Those to whom God had given to spread the love of Jesus and His Church on earth are among the founders of the Orthodox Youth Movement (MJO). This is not an addition to what took place on that blessed day, the 16th of March 1942, but rather it is the consummation of history to the action of the One Spirit. Today I am talking about the founding brother, Tony Bitar, who left us for heaven. Who, in our Church, does not know Brother Tony? Who does not know his heart, his toil, his zeal for the better Man whose call is to be a disciple of God. “Every human being is a disciple”, this is the message that made Tony Bitar a messenger of the Word in this entire expanse, from its north to its south… There is no distinction between the founders and their message. All of them, in their details, belong to God. For God to be known on earth is a wealth that, by itself, deserves every toil. Today, the founding brother went to rest in “Abraham’s bosom.” Christ is risen!
