Before Zach Galifianakis entered the world of film acting, he befriended “Mimi Haist”, the elderly lady he met in a California laundromat. He proudly tells that this lady has taught him to take care of his clothes. After he got immersed in acting and its concerns, he stopped seeing his friend “Mimi”. He rose in glory. As for her, who had neither a child nor any money, she became homeless. Some friends relayed to him what had happened to her. He found her. He rented a small house for her, the furnishing of which was taken care of by his wife, and he started bringing her along with him to the premieres of his movies.
