A Disgrace of a Homeland

A friend of mine showed me a footage of a nursery, in which some female employees were abusing infants, both verbally and in action. Does such kind of iniquity exist?! My friend confirmed that the video is authentic, and that the nursery, in which this vicious abuse took place (read it in the sense of predatory!), has been sealed with sealing wax. I asked him about the fate of the owner of the nursery and of the abusing employees. He said that they have been referred to justice. I was prompted to write about this “crime”, which took place a few days ago, by unjust comments thrown off by people who extended what happened in the nursery to other nurseries. There are innumerable atrocities in Lebanon. However, it knows that its meaning always lies in caring for the childhood. I do agree with those who advocate the monitoring of nurseries and nursing homes in our country. However, I do not agree that we improvise in presenting negative results about them before their issuance. I still have great confidence that Lebanon cannot be summed up by a few women who have become a disgrace in the eyes of a homeland!
