How long will we keep ignoring that the (wedding's) “Crowning service” does not consist of nakedness and chaos...; that is, it is not two persons surrounded by other people, most of whom have not learned to distinguish between a sacred service and what might happen after it? How long will we remain strangers to prayer during the Crowning service, present yet absent, present only in the body, witnesses to a party in which the absolute master in it is a group of photographers who are preparing a movie for remembrance? How long will the Crowning service be confined to a half-hour service, that takes place somewhere on earth, in which the newlyweds are presented to God only by the angels and the saints and a few people who have learned that the sacraments consist of communion? “There was a wedding in… and both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding…”! This is our belief that Jesus, Who was at the wedding in Cana, wants us to see Him in every wedding. He wants, in every wedding, to transform us from the substance of this world into witnesses for Him!
