Where is Your Heart?

Many have written about the injustice of the shortage of medicines in Lebanon. For a sick person to writhe with his being deprived of his medication in any part of the earth, this is not news of a civilized world. There is no place for civilization in Lebanon! A few days ago, a media outlet published a report in which the presenter reviewed the names of some missing medicines. I was saddened by the report. My wife too was watching it. Usually, if we hear negative news, she takes me to positive points with her words. This time, she reinforced my grief. She told me that there are also types of infant formula which are missing in Lebanon. Our country is a jungle. I know it is difficult for these daily lines to be read by anyone in a leadership position in the country. There are no people in the leadership who do not know our reality, our poverty and our suffering. The whole story lies in the answer to this single question: "Where is your heart?". When Lebanon realizes that leadership is a heart, then all of our problems will end; yes, all of them.
