Today, I went out to walk alone. I have become familiar with the roads that are close to the house, back and forth. I do not use the well-known application that helps people navigate the world. I use my eyes to memorize the landmarks or for the sake of enjoyment, or I take a few pictures with my phone so that, when things look the same to me, I can use them as a mark for a safe return. Today, after I got out, I immediately headed for the lake. I had visited it once before with the two children, my two eldest grandchildren, and said I would visit it again. What is remarkable about this shore, which is shaded by maple trees, is that it always seems to be awaiting someone to share its charming calmness. On my first visit, there was a couple in a small boat floating in the water. At this second visit, a woman on a bench across from the lake was busy wrestling with God, with her mouth and her eyes. When I got back home, my wife asked me, "have you been to the lake?
