Travel in Lebanon

There are people in Lebanon who choose to tour for days in its cities or villages in order to spend vacations that relieve them of the pressures of life. Lebanon is more beautiful than any travel! Yesterday, after the Liturgy, I had the opportunity to “travel” to areas that are open to the sea, to the vastness of sorrow and joy, to travel and return... My family and I were hosted by friends who are relatives of ours. We spent with them the rest of our day in Byblos and Batroun. There were lots and lots of people, Lebanese, Arabs and foreigners, in the sea, on the beach, in the inner streets of both cities as well as in their shops, that are outstretched to welcome. Here you see the "Lebanon you know", that is beautiful in its simplicity, spaciousness and white humanity. Until the sun went to a setting it knows, we remained engrossed in the beauty of the space and in the joy of faces with us, and others unknown to us. It was a memorable day. May the noble traits of friendship live on.
