During your day, bow your head to God for some of the time you bow it to your phone. Do not toss this suggestion away. This call is for all of us to give God, at all times, some of our time. The phone logs the time we spend on it. Determine how long, out of your own time, you want to dedicate to God, and direct your attention to Him. I am not telling you to specify a tenth, a quarter, a third, a half, or an equal amount of time. However, do not allow anything, neither the phone nor anything else, to make you forget that, at all times, God is giving us His face. If this suggestion is too difficult for you, I have another one. When you get yourself to the congregational prayer, leave your phone offline (turned off) in the pocket of your jacket, or leave it outside in your car. This is a lasting opportunity in which we can keep the others from the offenses, and say, to ourselves as well as to them, that we belong to God alone, indeed, to God alone.
