Here, I learned that the word "Canada", in the Iroquoian language (the ethnic language of Quebec), is derived from the word "kanata", which means village. No word in the world seduces me like this word: village. This is not an objection on my part to the fact that I was born in a city and grew up in its suburbs, but rather it is my belief that the expanse clothes us with its own attributes! Quietude is a pressing need, especially before repose! In Lebanon, my eyes are toward some villages where I had revealed to my wife that, God willing, I would like to spend some years of my lifetime in one of them. My wife loves the village. Yet, she does not see eye to eye with me on this desire. She does not base her stance on the fact that ministry in the city allows one to reach a greater number of people. We both believe that every human being deserves to be served. However, since she knows my conditions, she thinks that I cannot endure the cold of winter in the village. I did not add “Canada” to the villages I had listed. The cold has nothing to do with that. I want a village that will recognize me if I ever go down in its soil!
