The Secret of Kinship

She was raised far away. A young girl, fully grown in her youthfulness, had no place for God in her heart. Then, on a favorable day, one of her friends invited her to participate in the “Great Evening Compline”. For those who do not know it, this prayer consists mainly of readings, psalms and others. To participate in it, the committed person (especially he who is new), is in need of great concentration and great effort. What is wondrous, is that this prayer was the surge of a new era for the girl. What happens in Man’s secret before God? God gave her a new heart. Short time does not contribute to my telling you everything I like to tell about her. What happened was that the girl became all prayer. You know! Prayer is not mere words. The praying person is an extent, a place for God and for people. Through her, God has visited her household, her brothers and her father. Her mother, from above, has sensed this visitation. In the secret of the soul, they all entered into a new communion which death cannot overcome! Blessed be the secret of kinship.
