The Nativity Feast

To celebrate Jesus’ Nativity today, is something that requires us to have perfect faith in that He has descended from His heaven to all of us, to each one of us, we whose sins have thrown us away from Him. The feast truly belongs to those who adhere to the acknowledgement that God has invaded our dimension. Are you asking: why? Why does God's Word come from heaven to us sinners? "God is love". Everything He has done for us, from His creating us to His being born of Mary and His return in glory to His Father, is just so that we may ascend to the fact that He loves us. God is an ocean of love. I would not be underestimating the perfection of this salvific condescension or of God’s gratuitous love if I said first to myself publicly before you: “it is impossible for me to understand anything of the mystery of this divine condescension if I do not exchange God’s love with love”. Love is, in Christianity, the institute of higher understanding. Let us open our hearts. The feast is for the renewal of love today, yes today.
