The Miracle of Reform

From the enlightened people’s legacy, we do not know anyone who deemed it easy to reform an arrogant brother. I am not saying that reform is impossible. In our heritage, there is no flaw, no matter how hideous, that is impossible to reform, except for that on which we insist. Reform is a miracle which, if we desire, we should always expect. I know that what I am saying is difficult, especially if the arrogant person has problems that control him or if those around him have no choice but to obey him. The community we live in may sometimes be oblivious to the fact that God has planted His voice in it!! There is truly no escape from the flaw except in this awareness that God, Whom heaven and earth cannot contain, has made Himself a spacious place in the mouth of my brethren. For reform to be achieved for those who love it, the community must become aware that it is responsible for speaking the Truth; and he who needs the reforming word must realize that, in every circumstance, he is under its authority. This is a requirement of the Gospel of God (Matthew 18:15-17).
