The Language of Antioch

Today, if you hear anyone in the Church of Antioch, anyone at all, keeping any good off of others, you should understand that he is speaking a language foreign to our heritage. Do not be fooled by appearances! Do not be deceived by positions! Extremism is not of Antioch’s nature. I know that today we live in a time in which some tend to embrace everything that seeks to alienate us from ourselves. I am ashamed to mention this offhanded following of some people who are insulting brethren among us who have given their lives for our regeneration in Antioch. I am being honest with you. Am I uncoupling the language of Antioch from some of our Church members around the world? Antioch will not continue to be the same if we indiscriminately adopt ideas that undermine the mystery of openness, which has always been our identity and ministry. Beware of all rigid thinking. Do not equate anything with what our Fathers had agreed upon. You should uphold this. The knowledgeable in the Church of Antioch know that the deeper one delves into his own heritage, the more he will find others with him. Let us be Antiochians! The whole world needs the vastness of Antioch in love and understanding!
