The Guest of “Podcast With Nayla”

I enjoyed Nayla Tueni's interview with Samir Atallah. This meeting replaced a previous appointment that got canceled due to a health problem. The man is several writers combined in one, many lines and stars, history here and now. Atallah spoke about many things, about his childhood, his mother who is living in his memory, his uncle the poet Boulos Salemeh, about journalism and its ethics, about Ghassan Tueni “who is greater than what we know of him”, Amine Maalouf “the king in France” and “Zayyan” who is of the generation that formed journalism”, about kings, princes and public figures in the world, and about travel that contributed to his cultural formation, and the writing of the daily article, which is “hard labor”. The great ones are a light. Tueni prompted him to give a word of advice to young writers. He said: “to read ten thousand words for every single word they write”. His appreciation for his household, his wife and two children, and his confessions remain one of the pinnacles of an interview based, according to the interviewer, on her statement about him that he is “one of the most important writers in the world”.
