The Fuller Communication

Today, in more than one context, there is reliance on this electronic expanse, of which it is said that it has transformed the world into “a small village”. This has made us gain a lot. However, it has caused us to lose a lot too. It has caused us to distance ourselves, more or less, from paper, which had always seemed to be a primary source of science and culture, a lasting source for various readers, including those who love to embrace books and magazines… or those who do not know how to handle anything else. I do not remember if I had told you before that my eldest son, who studied Information Technology Management, once blamed me for breaking my rhythm of writing on paper. Did he think about those whom this electronic expanse caused us to neglect addressing? Did he want me to keep my loyalty to paper for the sake of fuller communication? The picture that accompanies these lines is the cover of a new book of mine that was recently published by the An-Nour Orthodox Cooperative, which I dedicate to him and to you.
