The End of Calvary

During my journey, I was following you with joy and gratitude. I have read your comments and your prayers for me and my household. I had mentioned to you that, when I get settled, I will answer you. However, there, I decided to give myself, as much as I could, to the household and the brethren. It mattered to me that, in your comments, you were free and giving freely. Forgive me for my remissness. I would like to tell those who have revealed that these lines consoled them in the foreign land or have taken some of them as if from a father, that my consolation in them is greater. As for the brethren whom I was told that the foreign land has broken them in soul and body, I hope for them to know that most of the broken people would not have been broken had they not surpassed us in compassion and tenderness. I am aware of the cruelty of remoteness and the unfairness of loneliness and weariness…, especially when the skyline gets lost in front of us. There is no shame in being broken. The shame lies in our accepting for our brokenness to make us forget that God is with us. Do not allow anything to make you forget that God has broken the heavens to be with us forever. This is our belief that the end of Calvary is an everlasting Pascha.
