The Day of Discoveries

Yesterday, a friend of mine quoted to me the words of the American writer Mark Twain: “The two most important days of your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why”. The words were new to me. Have I written to you before that I believe there are two types of people in the world, those who come to the end of their lives without knowing they were here, and others who believe that God does not just give birth to them from their mothers, but also births them every day with His love and mercy? I am not straying from what Twain had said, but I am trying to open life up, before me and before you, to the One Who never tires of bringing us out of nothing into being. How do I always see God as my mother and my father? I come after Twain if I say that I, too, fear that our lives will be wasted without discoveries. Have you asked yourself this question: Why did my mother give birth to me in this life? You must find an answer to it. If you wish to search for an answer in your days, do so. But do not forget this day. This is also a day for discoveries.
