The Cure of Blindness

Despite its divisions and polarities, Christian Zionism concurs on three: A literal reading of Holy Scriptures, the teaching about the eschaton in the future, and the return of the Jews to their “land”. Ideas do have a source. This made its theorists distinguish between what, in scriptures, refers to Israel and what refers to the Church. They neglected the Truth. They saw, for instance, that the Jews are still “the chosen people” to whom, and even to “the state of Israel”, apply the promises related to the ancient people. This led them to believe that the Church, which they consider to be a heavenly people, has the duty to help the Jews, who are God’s earthly people, to reign in the Promised Land whose eternal capital is Jerusalem. You have to read Grace Halsell’s book “Prophecy and Politics”. Halsell was one of their theorists before her eyes got opened to the lowliness of prostrating to “Madame the State”. There is no cure for blindness except through reconciling the Truth.
