The Church

The most beautiful texts that I conveyed to you over these years are the ones that I have read with you. I conveyed to you, many times, words uttered by other people, saints, priests, theologians, thinkers, writers and poets… Today, from the quiver of Saint John Chrysostom, I will pass on to you these words which I have kept for us: “the Church is a wall. If you are inside, the wolves will not reach you. But, if you go outside, the beasts will delight in you. Do not walk away from the Church. There is no bulwark stronger than her. The Church is your hope. The Church is your salvation. The Church is higher than the heavens. The Church is harder than rock. The Church is wider than the universe. The Church never grows old, but she renews herself every day”. What beautiful words!
