His word caught my attention. It was, eloquent, dripping with honey, and extremely realistic. He said, "he who gets bored of repeating the story, will not know how to read the Bible on a daily basis". I wrote down, on a piece of paper that I had with me, what I had heard. Are you asking: why am I exaggerating in my enthusiasm for this word? I will answer you. It may have been customary, for you and me, to liken the book to a story. It really is a story, the story of God with us, or our story with God… What, in the word, I saw as new to me, is the word itself. Do you want to feel this novelty? Then, I suggest you tell a child a story, and repeat it to him, day in and day out, two and three times... What do you think he will do? Watch him. Will he get bored? Will he remain eager to receive the story? Only those who have been blessed to perceive that they are the children of God will read the Bible without boredom!
