The Call for Our Peace

Nothing helps us be stronger than the world's animosity except our determination to keep ourselves “babes in malice” (1 Corinthians 14:20). This is God's call, the call for our peace and what our peace entails in terms of serving peace on earth. Let me be candid with you. Do not read these lines with eyes tormented by discord. Life does not make any progress by our sitting idly, waiting for peace, but by serving it regardless of circumstances. I know I insist on this service. The world is filled with polarization, you know. It is filled with people who are mostly self-sufficient, you know that too. I am not seeking to burden you, but rather to tell you the truth. He who cares about the truth also seeks the salvation of people who have not experienced the ingenuity of goodness in life. Do not be like most people. Do not separate yourself from this service. It is the best closure to recall that serving peace is what reveals, in a profoundly eloquent way, our faith that God is One, He is my Father, and the Father of all people. Be at peace.
