The Basis for Renewal

We met for about an hour and a half. I know his zeal for the life, witness and growth of the Church. We talked about many things that are all related to the Church today, to her servants, to her people and their brokenness which, in most cases, we content ourselves with seeing it and encouraging those who are broken to endure it with patience… I criticized, in front of him, a few brethren who do not want the “regeneration” to take the place that belongs to it and who serve the Church with an “employee’s mentality”! Do not underestimate their number! I named one and two. He interrupted me, saying: “I like this one”. He found out that perhaps I like him more than he does. I told him: “Love does not mean that we remain silent about obvious mistakes committed by some for whom we wish God to see, in their faces, the face of His Only Begotten Son”. We promised to meet again. This is the cure for our wounds to keep in mind that the basis for renewal is a Word that never ceases flowing.
