Take my hand

O God of mercy and life, do not leave me alone. Here You see me. This is me, all of me before You. You know what I need. I am weak and confused. Be my strength and my guidance. I do not want for myself any decision that You do not take with me, or that You do not take for me. Help me do only what pleases You. The path is in front of me, do not let me walk it alone. I do not want a goal that I set for myself. You know what suits me best, You know what is for my good, for my today and tomorrow. Take my hand and lead me on my way to my goal. I do not want anything of my own flesh and blood, or of this present world, that separates me from You. I do not want anything to be mine that is not related to You. Free me from my weakness and confusion. Draw me close to You. Draw me closer. Overlook everything that angers You in me, and have mercy on me. There is no life for me without Your mercy. There is no meaning to anything without Your mercy.
