Sami Madi

Sami Madi returned to his "Father's house". Only eloquent faces know that life, in its details, is not right unless it is contented with God as its foundation. When I met him thirty-four years ago, he said to me: “Our church is small. There is an idea among us to build a new church that will accommodate us, in which we and our children will be brought up. Be with us”. How did this friendly man acquire that God is the educator? Everything in him was from God. When Metropolitan George Khodr appointed him as a member of the committee for building our new church in Hazmieh, he put all his knowledge, experience, and capabilities at the service of this appointment. He was a truly unique person. He was always able to spread the culture of joy and peace in every situation. Sami Madi is one of the few people to whose hearts animosity found no path whatsoever. Offer him friendship, you will see that you are offering him what he has already offered you. Oppose him, his love for you will not change. He was a piece of heaven in our midst. My friend has not departed. He returned to heaven.
