Preaching in Christ

I know a priest who, in the matter of dispensing the Word, puts himself under criticism. He asks another priest whom he trusts for his comments on the sermons he will be delivering to his parish. I know from this and that that they exchange the benefit. These two brothers did not invent what they are doing, but rather they are following the direction of a bishop, who brought them to the ministry, who, during his time, used to suggest to his priests that they cooperate to reach to “preaching in Christ”. This is an explicit good that I am mentioning today at a time when the audacity to spread failure is growing. Refer to the social media!There are preachers, from our Church as well as from others, who hijack the pulpit of the Church by making it a place for improvisation, twaddle and clerical pompousness which shows the preacher to be a teacher who is above the Word and its people… I am not generalizing. There are other preachers in our Church and elsewhere, both Arabs and foreigners, who are serious about spreading the word. Shall I name for you one who is serious? He is Father Symeon Abouhaidar.
