Pope Francis

From his position, His Holiness Pope Francis overlooks the news of the world, both its joys and its sorrows... If we follow what he says in several contexts, two things become evident: that he is always praying for people, especially those afflicted by injustice and neglect, and then, his urgent call for the work of righteousness and peace on earth. His Holiness believes that the salvation of the world comes from above. His appeal to people, leaders of nations and others, to preserve peace and good deeds, is central to his faith that God awaits our participation in His plans for us. Just a few days ago, the Pope raised his voice loudly. Out of his love and wisdom, he chose “the end of the month of Ramadan” to reiterate his sadness over "the conflict between Israel and Palestine," and over the suffering in Syria and in our white country, Lebanon. In a prophetic tone, he said: "Enough, stop. If you please, cease the clamor of weapons, and think about the children... They need homes, schools, and parks, not graves and trenches". Blessed are the peacemakers.
