“Parishes Bearing Witness”

I watched on “Télé Lumière” parts of Father Elias Karam’s program “Parishes Bearing Witness” that sheds a light on parishes from the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Mount Lebanon. I will not dwell on questions that I am unable to answer. Why the Archdiocese of Mount Lebanon exclusively? Is this a prelude to other episodes about its other sisters? Will there be (or have there been) programs about parishes from other Churches? Is it an experience whose assessment will determine whether it will be repeated or not?... I already answered my questions. I have noticed, before, with joy, the space that “Télé Lumière” gives to the Orthodox Churches in our country. This has confirmed my conviction that its administration is free from seclusiveness and sectarian fanaticism. There remains for me to express my appreciation for the praiseworthy experience gained by Father Elias in his taking up of this ministry in the media. I would like to salute him today for every effort he makes, for the glory of God.
