Orthodoxy

I followed some loathsome statements hurled by people among us at activities in which the organizers sought to promote Christians’ unity. Those who are perfect have the suffering of Christ in themselves. History does not go backward! If it were to do so, I would have loved to know the opinion of those who had engaged in “religious wars”, those who had committed the most heinous crimes against others who differ from them in sect and religion, (their opinion) in this insane violence that is raging in our country! How do some of us miss that any “Christianity” that does not believe in the others’ right to differ, that is, any “Christianity” that wants the other to be like itself, dead or alive, is a fake, it is one of the new “religious wars”?! Who brings people up on a basis other than the established one? No orthodoxy exists other than in love, which is everything. This is the truth upon which there is consensus among the Saints. I know that we are not good at anything as we are at turning the saints into barricades in wars we engage in. I do not fear for our orthodoxy. We are all in the care of the Saints.
