Orthodox Youth Movement

I grew up in a district where everything was permitted. Sins, before they are acts, are companionship! When the brethren in the Orthodox Youth Movement (MJO) invited me to their meetings, some of them knew me. They all shared their apprehension of me! Then they found out that I was, for them, a treasure for a better understanding of sins! I introduced to their parlance, out of my area of expertise, what they used to approach theoretically! You can tell why I love them, why I give my life to their cause. For their purity in the first place. A venerable brother told me once: “remain as you are in your appearance; your clothes; your long hair. People must know that rascals are dedicating themselves to the Church”! I know what Paul says about the things of which one is ashamed (Romans 6:21). I do not disagree with him. I am telling things as they are. What is the secret to striving for the best? They said: “To know that you are loved”. I would also say: “To belong to the homeland of love”.
