On the Threshold of a New Year

Days pass for people in different ways. What I care about is the countenance of those who come to our day from God’s holiness. I have a friend who always reiterates to me, as if he were my mother and father: “give all your trust to the one you know prays”. You can realize the value of these words, which are among the most precious words I have ever received in my life. My friend believes that, whoever is aware that God is the basis of our life in everything, does not grow weary of talking to Him. Not only does he consult Him on matters that await him, but he also builds his entire life on Him. He also recommends that: “he who neglects that “God is calling us to His Kingdom and His Glory”, do not expect him to care, in what he does, for the peace and good of the world”. Today, I liked to write these lines to you, on the threshold of a new year, as a greeting to my recommending friend and an encouragement for myself and for you, to strive to be trustworthy.
