New Travel

I have never included in my life program to travel for days or for weeks, until I was over fifty years old. This was due to my being immersed in a work that still takes hold of me, and to my conviction that Man is capable of traveling in his place! Let me tell you. When a friend of mine invited me to spend a few days together in Greece, he organized a complete trip for both of us. He agreed with a tour guide on a fitting program. He booked us a hotel in the center of Athens. We left no place in the city that we did not visit, churches, museums and archaeological sites... We went to Corinth, where we followed the footsteps of the Apostle Paul. Then we crossed the sea to Nectarios, the Saint of Aegina. My friend discovered that I knew things about the areas we visited that made me look as if I had visited them before. This is knowledge I have acquired from the brethren and from traveling in books. When you get older, other people get into your program, and carry you where they want!
