My Political Stance

In our country, we claim verbally (pay attention to the word: verbally) that, in politics, no person is neutral. I would have hoped that this claim is true; that is, that every human being would have a political consciousness of his own. I am generalizing. I say every human being without distinguishing between a man and a woman, priest and laity… I am not saying, for instance, that I am for the partisanship of the priest, or that I am calling him, he or anyone else, to practice the politics of this country that is knowledgeable in nothing else other than animosity and accusations of treason! What I am saying or hoping for is that people rise up against the rule of injustice, corruption, crimes committed against the poor and the sick…, and against putting self-interest above all else... Our crisis in our country is that we have left politics to those who excelled in nothing other than in persuading us to stay out of it. We are not neutral, but rather, we have willingly accepted to be expelled! Will there come a day when we will all realize that our country needs us?
