Every time it is proven to me that someone is boasting about something he finds beautiful in himself, I say that: “this one is in need of someone to love him or (in need of) understanding that love is always free”. Nothing restores our senses like our belief that “love does not seek its own” (1 Corinthians 13:5). I know that I am repeating myself. But I would also like you to know that what drives me to this repetition are horrible things that we do not want to give up. Today, I was telling myself: “what is the discovery which, if embraced religiously by Man, would turn the earth into heaven?”. My answer was: “the title I have given to these lines". Do you want our humanity to be exalted? No humanity is real without our rushing to love others unconditionally, and our making peace with the fact that no one loves us for anything good in us. I hope that God gives us, in this life, to no longer need this repetition!
