A friend of mine handed me a few papers on written topics of many kinds, ecclesial and others, as well as comments thereon, which he had copied from social media. I am interested in comments. I am not relaying to you what you do not know. Most people, if they comment on something that bothered them, will overlook the fact that the other human being's right to disagree is sacred. I am not saying that those who publish their opinions, ecclesiastical and political... on their pages, are free, above accountability. They are free. However, as long as they declared their opinion, it has become the right of anyone who reads them to respond to them, if he wished to. Here lies the story. How do we respond? Most often, the responses we read are tense, put down by their writers with no regard to who is going to read them. Expressing opinions is a right, a boldness that stems from the Truth, provided they are delivered out of love for those to whom they are addressed and to those who read them. Wish me to be better, and write to me whatever you like.
