I have a doctor friend who lives abroad. On one of his visits to Lebanon, I consulted him about a mutual friend of ours. He gave me the name of a doctor who works here in one of the hospitals in Lebanon. My friend went to him. He prescribed for him a treatment that he said he would have to repeat every time he had a relapse. After about two months, he relapsed. The patient searches for a better solution, a permanent solution, if possible. He called the doctor. He answered him: “I told you what to do. I have to hang up. Be well”! You cannot imagine the wounds that these words left in my friend's soul. His relapse was easier! Some doctors are not aware that medicine is but long-suffering bending over people whose pains may erase their memory! Patience patience! This is half of the medicine the patient needs.
