In the past, I used to be saddened by those who push the others to speak of them in an odious way. The sins of the world still make me sad. However, my friends have taught me to grieve, primarily, for the speakers themselves. One of them told me, once: “no one is worthy of our grieving over him more than he who throws off the yoke of his responsibility for others”.
