Feast of All Saints

It is the feast of the active revelation that God wanted all Mankind with Him in His Kingdom. He who looks closely at the feast, especially in its ecclesial position, falling on the first Sunday after Pentecost, will notice, with no effort, that, through it, the Church intended to confirm her awareness that, while on earth, she comes from heaven, that is, from the vastness of heaven which transcends all limits… This is the basis of our Phronema that holiness is not, in essence, a human effort, but rather a gift; it is the work of the Holy Spirit Who bestows generously upon Mankind His attributes that are given to them through accepting Him. You do remember Paul’s words: “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17). The words do not only suggest that the Holy Spirit has freed us, in Christ, from the shackles of an old covenant, but that He is also free in His outsets on earth in order to bring people back to His heart. The greatest gift is for the human being, every human being, to be conscious of this eloquent love that God wants him to belong to Him and to be with Him.
