Evangelizing the Depths

A meeting, which I join every week, prompted me to re-read Simone Pacot’s book: “Evangelizing the Depths” (An-Nour Cooperative, 2016). I do not know who of you has read the book. Once, after its release, I had encouraged you to read it. Today, I am sending this new encouragement to those who have not read it. No words, guiding us to the path of peace, are greater than the words of the mature in the Spirit. Pacot tells us what means that living in peace is not a dream that is kept indefinitely. If we find it difficult to change the course of our lives, we can change the recurring visits of our past to our present. In the depths of each of us there are exhausting traumas waiting for us to allow God's light to penetrate them. Nothing retains our traumas like our silence about them! I am not saying that this book is our cure from every fatigue that is pervading within us, but rather that it is to heal us of every flaw that makes us ignore that God is capable of renewing us with His love and His mercy. I hope you will read it.
